Dr Sudhindra  has worked several challenging  areas of research like Molecular Medicine,  looking at Active Site of Receptors,  Molecular aspects of Carcinogenesis  via Computer Assisted  Drug Design ! He has developed his own Theoretical Modelling approach writing all the necessary FORTRAN programmes. He had predicted Ibuprofen could be a LEAD molecule  in anti-cancer  treatment (1988). Infact,a group of British Medicos  did find a cocktail of drugs based on Brufen to treat Lung cancer (1996).After joining  IGNOU  IN 1989, he worked to Establish the School of Health Sciences at HQ. As IGNOU Regional Director for Maharashtra he developed many simplifying ways of Understanding any difficult subject. Some of these are RULE-OF-THREE to understand any difficult topic, NEED-IPS way to write a Complete Answer to any Q, and FOLK-CAP way to Enjoy Maths Problem Solving in Schooling years as well as at UG,PG levels. Many of these ideas are included in this FOLK-CAP  book .

Dr.Sudhindra  is a copious reader with keen interest to help NxtGen in their Academics. He is currently looking at ways to “streamline  Maths contents” in the GOLDEN PERIOD and FOUNDATION STAGE of learning of a child. This activity is challenging because of the policy of Teaching in mother tongue !  AS WE HAVE over 24 Regional Languages and controlled by different State Political views. Yet in this era of available quick translations, this author feels an “Uniform Curriculum” can be developed  for implementation by all states. This area of activity is not considered by Prof. Munjal Bhargava committee preparing Textbooks from Std.3 and above. Hence Dr. Sudhindra’s work will be useful  in the coming  years to the nation.By virtue of CREATING s simple way of Problem solving using Maths as a language and Every child is born with embedded logics [Software and Hardware] I am now legitimately can be called as a Mathematician as well!! I have coined the Acronym FOLK-CAP for this method. Easy to remember just like VIBGYOR, BODMAS, SWOT etc. So, my life has moved from Scientist [Chemist] to Molecular Biologist [Molecular Medicine] to a Mathematician! ….an interesting and exciting life-story.
